Team Summary
Eaton High School hasn't been around for a decade yet, but they already have a state title in the trophy case. The 2022 squad, led by Head Coach Jeremy Fatheree, brings back an experienced Lineup that should continue the tradition of having an explosive offense. That firepower starts at the top with Nolan Bushko and Connor Massimini. Bushko led the state in Stolen Bases last year, and Massimini is the career OBP leader for Eaton. Silas Voegely, Matthew Holt, and Easton Andrews should provide some thump in the middle of the order. Look out for Jr. Dereck Martinez and Sophomore Colton Klapprodt to provide some more firepower and extend their lineup.
On the mound the Eagles will have plenty of options, led by Brasch, Michalek, Jacinto, Wallace, Risley and Henk. Henk has the potential to be their #1 or #2. The team defense should help the pitching staff play up as they are highly athletic all over the diamond.
Eaton plays in one of the tougher districts in the state with perennial powerhouses Southlake Carroll and Keller in their district. They will be tested throughout the year, which should set them up for a run to and thru the playoffs.
