TEAM OUTLOOK
The Boswell Pioneers, led by Head Coach Joshua Stone, enter the 2025 season with high expectations following a stellar 32-8 campaign that saw them reach the Regional Semifinals. The team expects their team strengths to be speed and baseball IQ in 2025 to help position them as strong contenders for another deep playoff run. With a core group of talented returners and promising young talent, the Pioneers are poised to capitalize on their recent success this spring.
Boswell boasts a lineup rich in versatility and leadership, headlined by Mason Bell (McLennan CC), a dominant presence on the mound and at first base who earned 2024 First Team All-District honors. Coby McBride (Seminole State JC) and Johann Infante (Southern Arkansas) bring two-way capabilities as key contributors both offensively and on the mound. Defensively, C Ramon Corona (McLennan CC), the 2024 District Defensive Player of the Year, will anchor the team while providing leadership from behind the dish. The outfield speed of Mak Lerma (Cisco JC) and the infield depth led by Xander Thacker (2026) round out a lineup filled with experience and talent.
New faces, including UTL Colton Coursey (2026), and freshman Braylin Caston (2028) add depth and potential to an already stacked roster. Players like Trent Prosperi (Rose State JC), Brody Bradley (Williams Baptist), and Aidan Tenorio (uncommitted) will also provide critical versatility and depth throughout the season. With their potent mix of athleticism, experience, and baseball acumen, Boswell is primed to take the next step and contend for a state title in 2025.
