TEAM OUTLOOK
The Cleburne Yellowjackets are poised to continue building on a solid 2024 campaign, where they finished with a 20-12 record and were Bi-District Finalists. With an experienced roster that includes multiple standout players returning from last season’s success, Cleburne is in a strong position to be competitive again this spring.
With a core group of experienced players returning, Cleburne looks to be one of the top teams in their district once again. The combination of established stars like Vincent Martinez, Malachi Cunningham, and Beaux Douthitt, along with the promising younger talent of Manny Aguilar and the freshmen class, gives Cleburne a strong foundation for both the present and future.
Expect the Yellowjackets to be a formidable force on the mound with their talented pitching staff, led by Martinez and Fonseca, while their offense should be dynamic with playmakers at the plate like Cunningham and Douthitt. The leadership of Coach Ross Taylor will be key in maximizing the team’s potential and continuing their momentum from last season’s playoff appearance.
Cleburne has the talent, depth, and experience to make another playoff run, with eyes set on advancing further and perhaps contending for a district championship along the way. With a mix of established players and up-and-coming stars, the 2025 season is shaping up to be an exciting one for the Yellowjackets.
