We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 30 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.
Please keep checking back throughout the season as we will be your one-stop shop for everything related to high school baseball across the state. Each week we will be releasing our Players of the Week and updating the Power 30 rankings.

TEAM OUTLOOK
The Creekview Mustangs are poised to build upon a solid 2024 season, leveraging a roster built on strong pitching and defense. Under Head Coach Blake Koch, the team will look to translate their strengths into a postseason berth this spring.
Creekview’s roster is anchored by several standout players who earned All-District honors in 2024 and will play pivotal roles in 2025 including seniors RHP/SS Michael Ledesma (1st Team A-D), RHP/C Jake Moreno (1st Team A-D), and MIF Cameron Landberg (2nd Team A-D), junior LHP/OF Ben Miller (1st Team A-D), and sophomore RHP/INF Mark Rojas (2nd Team A-D).
Ledesma batted .338 last spring with 9 doubles, 6 triples, and a homer, while also swiping 15 bags. He also posted a 1.99 ERA in 56 innings with 41 punchouts on the mound. Moreno was another standout on the mound last season for the Mustangs, tossing 71 innings, striking out 50 batters, en route to a 1.68 ERA. Landberg paced the Mustangs’ offense in 2024 and will look to do so again in 2025 after batting .351 with 3 doubles and a triple last spring. Rojas and Miller both took on larger roles as underclassmen last spring and will look to continue their success in 2025, now with more experience.
The Mustangs’ core strengths in pitching and defense provide a sturdy foundation for success in 2025. With several All-District returners leading the charge and a mix of experienced seniors and promising underclassmen, Creekview could potentially not only get to the postseason but make some noise once they get there as well.
