TEAM OUTLOOK

The Cypress Park Tigers and Head Coach Kenneth Stockton, are poised for a competitive 2025 season. Coming off a 2024 campaign where they finished 12-17-1, the Tigers are focused on building upon their team strengths, particularly in pitching, to make a deeper push in district play and beyond. Anchoring the mound will be top returning players like David Sandoval, a versatile two-way standout who earned Honorable Mention All-District honors as a sophomore. Joining him are Brandon Orellana, an infielder who secured First Team All-District recognition in 2024, and Gio Saldana, a two-way who also received Honorable Mention All-District honors. This experienced core will play a pivotal role in setting the tone for the season.

The Tigers also have exciting new talent ready to make an impact. Senior LHP/OF Kai Daniels, a Southern Arkansas commit, brings a promising arm and athleticism to the roster, while C/UTL Nolan Schomburg, a 2027 prospect, adds depth behind the plate. Freshmen Cole LeCompte and Kameron Griffin are players to watch, with the potential to inject youthful energy and dynamic play into the lineup. With a blend of veterans and exciting newcomers, Cypress Park has the tools to leverage their pitching strength and compete for a playoff berth in 2025.
