We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Texas. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 30 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK
The Foster Falcons, under the leadership of Head Coach Mick Tosch, enter the 2025 season with momentum and high expectations. Coming off an impressive 26-13 record in 2024, culminating in a deep playoff run to the 5A Regional Quarterfinals, the Falcons will look to build off that finish and potentially make a deeper run this year, now moving up to the state’s 6A class. Defense will likely be the backbone of the team's success, with a talented core of returning players anchoring the lineup and infield.
Leading the way are top returning players such as outfielder Kai Kirchheiner, who earned 2024 Second Team All-State and First Team All-District honors for his outstanding contributions. Joining him is catcher Oscar Trevino, who brings valuable experience and leadership behind the plate after an Honorable Mention All-District season. Shortstop Aiden Poirier, committed to Arkansas - Rich Mountain, adds defensive versatility and consistent hitting as a First Team All-District selection, while INF/RHP Paxton Dagley provides a dynamic two-way presence. Foster also boasts rising talent in newcomer Hunter Maddox, an uncommitted infielder from the Class of 2026, who looks poised to make an immediate impact. With a mix of veteran leadership and emerging players, the Falcons look to build on their strengths and contend for another playoff run in 2025.
