TEAM OUTLOOK
Hawley enters the 2025 season with high expectations, following a stellar 2024 campaign that saw them finish 26-11 and make an impressive run to the UIL 2A State Championship game. Under the leadership of Head Coach Jaime Seago, the Bearcats will rely on their team strength of defense in 2025. With a strong core of returning players and an influx of promising newcomers, Hawley aims to return to the championship stage and take the next step toward a state title.
Leading the charge for the Bearcats is a talented group of upperclassmen, highlighted by RHP/2B Alec Southerland, OF Eli Daniel, and versatile C/RHP Keagan Ables, all of whom are uncommitted seniors. Joining them is rising junior SS Drew Siller, who has already shown flashes of brilliance, as well as versatile OF/P Aiden Romo, another Class of 2026 standout. Adding depth and versatility to the roster are emerging contributors like sophomore RHP/3B Jesse Nieto. The addition of newcomers such as UTL Braylen Sanchez and 1B/RHP Jake Bristow, along with UTL Braylen Williams, provides Hawley with even more athleticism and lineup flexibility. With a proven defensive foundation and a roster adding developing talent, the Bearcats look poised for another deep postseason run in 2025.
