FT. WORTH, TX - 2018 LHP Cade Farr struck out twelve batters en route to a six inning, no-hit performance on Thursday evening as All Saints Episcopal rolled past Ft. Worth Country Day 10-0.

Farr, a 6-foot-6 Texas Tech recruit, got off to a great start, striking out the side in the top of the first. Country Day would have a chance to score in the second inning as two batters would reach base by virtue of a hit-by-pitch and walk. With two outs, and runners on first and third, the Falcons attempted a double-steal. But the Saints would handle the situation beautifully with a clean game of catch between catcher Caleb Silvia and shortstop Jacob Speaker to get the runner at home on a 2-6-2 putout.

The Saints would get on the board in the bottom of the third inning when third baseman Andrew Bird drove in shortstop Jacob Speaker on an RBI groundout. Two pitches later, Luke Brockermeyer would sacrifice bunt a run home, putting All Saints up 2-0.

Then, in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Saints would send twelve batters to the plate, exploding for seven runs on seven hits. Logan Britt, a Texas A&M recruit, led the charge with two doubles in the inning. Jake Mares and Andrew Bird would also drive in runs, putting the Saints up 9-0.

The icing on the cake for the Saints would come off the bat of Cade Farr. With two on and one out, Farr would drive in the tenth run of the game, sealing his six inning, no-hit, twelve strikeout performance. With the victory the Saints improve to 18-2 overall.
