PLANO, TX - On Tuesday, June 6, some of the top underclass from across the state of Texas converged on Prestonwood Christian Academy for the DFW Underclass Trials. Here are some quick hits from the pro-style workout.

+ Caleb Munton, C, Wylie HS, 2019
6-foot, 190-pound, strong frame with broad shoulders. Recently off of a second straight state championship for Wylie High School, Munton showed why he has been an important piece to the winning ways at Wylie. Munton, a switch hitter, has a seasoned approach from both sides of the plate with strong contact and projectable power. His pop times were 2.04-2.12 with a 78 mph catchers velocity.

+ 2019 SS/OF/RHP Wyatt Rohmer from Byron Nelson was all over the field on Tuesday. Rohmer has an athletic 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame, and showed the ability to play multiple positions on the field and took a solid round of batting practice.

+ 2019 RHP Tyler Morgan from Marcus high school was 82-83 mph from a high-¾ slot with an easy delivery and quick arm stroke. Morgan has a young face and is not done growing, look for more velocity from him as the summer continues.

+ 2020 1B/RHP Tyler Justice from Lexington HS showed pop during BP and registered an exit velocity of 94 mph. On the mound, his fastball was 79-83 with a quick arm stroke and feel for a slurve at 69 mph.

+ 2019 SS Josh Bartolacci from Coppell HS has quick actions and showed that he can catch and throw on the run during the infield workout. He ran a 7.11 60-yard dash and threw 80 mph across the infield.

+ 2019 SS Cole Posey from Georgetown HS put together a solid all-around day. He ran a 7.11 60-yard dash, and showed arm strength with carry at 82 mph across the infield.

+ 2020 OF/RHP Henry Cooper Huspen from Allen HS ran a 7.0 60-yard dash, threw 85 mph from the outfield, and had an exit velocity of 83 mph.

+ 2019 OF Jonathan Crist from Rockwall Heath HS ran the fastest 60 time of the day, posting a 6.94. His twin cousins, Makel Butler and Malik Butler are both 2020 grads from Poteet High School. The twins are both 6-foot-2, 180-pounds, with high-waisted, athletic, projectable frames.

+ 2020 RHP Hunter Reid has an already projectable pitcher’s frame at 6-foot-2, 204 pounds. The ball jumps out of his hand at 82-83 mph.

+ 2019 LHP Jack Hattrup from Plano West HS has a projectable 6-foot-4, 180-pound frame and throws a heavy fastball at 79-81 mph from a high slot.

+ 2020 OF/RHP Josh Hernandez from Reedy HS in Frisco showed off premium arm strength from the outfield at 87, 88, 90 and 92 mph. On the mound, his velocity was only 80-81 mph with a long arm stroke, but look for big things from Hernandez as he continues to develop.
