TEXAS, USA - Each week, PBR Texas will be showcasing players that had stellar performances from across the state. The talent level in Texas is second-to-none, and our Scouting Staff is covering games and evaluating players on a daily basis. Here is a list of players that had stellar performances last week, as nominated by their high school coaches.

LITTLE ELM HS
JORGE ALDRETE of Little Elm HS (2020) extended his hitting streak to 10 games and 13 of his last 14. Going 5-10, w/ 2 2B,  3 RBI, raising his district average to .447 (.512 obp) only striking out 2 times in his first full season at the varsity level.

Logan Kohler, 3B/RHP, Little Elm HS, 2019
The Oklahoma commit went 1-0 while throwing a combined 6.1 innings 4 h, 1 R, 0 ER, 9 K in relief In 2 games against McKinney North and Flower Mound Marcus. Lowered his season era to .759 and district to .438

Carson Cox, Little Elms HS, 2018
Henderson State commit. 5 ip 4 h 1 BB 7 ks against McKinney North lowering his season ERA TO 1.89 and district ERA to 1.44.

Danny Davis, RHP, Plano West HS, 2020
Save with 2 scoreless innings on Tuesday, and a Win, 5.2 Innings, 8 K’s, 1 run

Monterey HS won 13-2 over Lubbock HS taking their record to 18-13 Overall and 9-6 in district. Lex Garcia went 5 innings for the win, allowing only 4 hits and striking out 6.

Trent Padron, LHP, Gorman HS, 2018
Trent threw a complete game shutout of May on 4-28.  He gave up 3 hits, walked none, and struck out 17 of the 23 batters he faced.  He also only allowed 2 runners to reach 2nd base. Going into the game, the Panthers were facing a "win and you're in" game and Padron tossed his best game of the season.  The game was played in Goldthwaite to accommodate both teams as each had players competing in Regional Track meets in San Angelo and Whitney. Earlier in the day, Padron captured 1st place in the triple jump and will advance to the state meet in Austin.  Later he suffered a pulled hamstring in the 4x100 relay, and still competed in the 300m hurdles before making the long trek to Goldthwaite to the mound against May.

Fidel Garcia from Grulla HS threw a one-hitter against Progreso. The freshman tallied 14 K while only allowing 1 hit and 2 walks.

Jared Boulden from Newman Smith HS earned a 3-1 win on Friday with 6.2 IP. The junior struck out 10, allowed 1 hit, 2 BB and 1 run.
