Johnie Krawietz, RHP, Canton HS, 2019
ACU commit. Canton's Johnnie Krawietz broke the all time scoreless innings streak set by Forney's Mason Englert last season.  Before that, the record was held by David Clyde for 45 years. Going into Thursday's match-up against Quinlan Ford, Krawietz just need 1 1/3 scoreless to tie and 1 2/3 to set the all time mark.  He did just that. Johnnie threw three scoreless innings, striking out 5 en route to a combined no hitter and a 19-0 victory. His current streak now sits at 57 IP. To top it all off, after setting the new mark in the second inning, Krawietz came to the plate and dropped a 2-run home run to cap off a spectacular inning.  He finished the night 3-4 with 6 RBI. He was a triple shy of the cycle. Canton faces Spring Hill in the Area Round of the UIL Playoffs this week.

Wyatt Erikson, JJ Pearce HS was 4 for 11 last week in 3 games against South Grand Prairie, with 6 RBI, HR, 3B, 5 R, and pitched 2 innings of relief earning the win with 3 K. Erikson hit a Walk-Off 3R HR to win Friday’s game where Pearce came back from a 14-2 deficit in the 7th inning to win 15-14. Erikson collected all six of his RBI in that inning.

Ramsey Amador, SS, Vela HS, 2019
UTRGV commit. Amador was 3 out of 7 at the plate with 2 HR, 6 RBI and 2 runs scored.  One of his HR was a grand slam to put the game away in the bottom of the 5th inning. Ramsey also pitched 2.1 innings and earned two saves on the mound with 5 K to secure our 5th Bi District Championship in a row.

Sam Houston State commit. 5 IP, 1 H, 13 K, 1 R, 0 ER

Rome Shubert, RHP, Santa Fe HS, 2020
Houston commit. In a Bi-District Game vs Dayton Shubert went 6 IP, allowing no runs on 2 H, and punched out 14 in the 6-0 win. The right-handed hitter was also 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Victor Loa, LHP, Los Fresnos HS, 2021
In a 3-1 win over Weslaco in the first round of the UIL Playoffs, Loa threw 7 innings of no-hit baseball. He finished with 13 K and 4 BB.

For the 3rd time in program history, Liitle Elm HS is moving on to Area round, as a team they hit .429 and gave up 0 ERs. Leading the way were three hitters.

Oklahoma State commit. Playoff time.  Just an update on Tyler's 1st Round. Game 1: 1-4 on the day. Game 2: 3-3 HR 3B, 2B and Intentional walk . 4 RBI's in a 6-5 win against Rowlett.  On to the next round

Micah Gibson, LHP/OF, White Oak HS, 2020
7 innings pitched, win, 1H, 1 R, 1 ER, 9Ks, 1BB. Also had the game winning hit (triple) in the bottom of the 7th to score the runner from 1st base in a 2-1 victory over Hughes Springs.
