PITCHERS

Dane Allman, LHP, Fairfield HS, 2021
5-foot-9, 160-pounds, Tall and fall delivery with some rhythm in his wind-up, athletic finish. Lowerhalf works in line, front shoulder flies open a bit at footstrike. Long arm path, decent arm speed with regular to easy effort. Fastball topped at 76 MPH with some arm-side run. Curveball showed decent break with a 1/7 shape, worked at 64 MPH. The changeup sat at 71 MPH.

Trip Banta, LHP, Lake County Christian, 2021
5-foot-10, 200-pounds, throws with a long arm path, good natural rhythm in the delivery, there is some effort in there but showed feel for his body. Ran the fastball up to 87 on the day and paired with a small breaking ball with small slider/ cutter action at 79-80 mph as well as a CH with quality arm speed at 81 mph.

Breck Carver, RHP, Denton Guyer HS, 2021
5-foot-11, 185-pounds, physical right-handed pitcher throws with a long and loose arm path. Good tempo in his delivery, landing slightly open with square shoulders. Runs the fastball up to 82 MPH with late life, throws it on the corners and at the knees.  The slider sat at 67 MPH with tight spin. Throws the changeup hard at 71 MPH, a little arm-side run.

Trenton Chenard, RHP, Weimar, 2021
6-foot-3, 160-pounds, long loose arm, throws from a low ¾ slot that works with him striding slightly across his body and creating some deception with the glove side as well. Fastball came in at 86-87 mph on the day with some sink and arm side run when it is right. Throws a change up with good arm speed at 77 mph as well as a cutter at 83 that is more side to side and small action. Chenard has enough funk in the delivery with a quality sinker to pitch at the next level.

Ethan Coronel, RHP, The Woodlands, 2023
5-foot-10, 150-pounds, showed an athletic tempo to the delivery, had a clean natural separation of the hands with rhythm down the mound.  Fastball came in 79 mph and paired that with a breaking ball at 69 mph with tight spin and a depth. Also mixed in a CH at 73 mph. In the field had sound actions, threw with a long arm path across the diamond at 78 mph. At the plate showed feel for the barrel and consistently worked the middle of the field. From the tee had an exit velocity of 81 mph.  Coronel showed natural athletic ability and an ease to pitching, look for a jump as he matures physically.

Braden Davis, RHP, Westlake, 2021
6-foot-2, 205-pounds, strong build, slow tempo to the delivery with a long arm path, over the top arm action that produces some natural cut on the fastball. Fastball on the day was 83-84 mph with natural cut. Davis was able to flash feel for a breaking ball at 74-75 mph with late action and depth, as well as a CH at 77 mph.

Alex Diaz, RHP, The Woodlands College Park, 2021
5-foot-8, 140-pounds, in the outfield showed athletic feet, throws with a short arm action and made accurate throws to the plate at 79 mph. At the plate, showed a natural rhythm in his load, had a flat stroke producing line drives with backspin to left center field. From the tee had an exit velocity of 84 mph. On the mound throws with a  short fast arm, has some aggression in the delivery. Fastball was up to 77 on the day and played true. The breaking ball was 69 mph and had small action that rolled in the zone.

Cody Edwards, RHP, Tom C Clark, 2022
5-foot-11, 170-pounds, has a balanced and controlled delivery, throws from a ¾ slot with a clean arm path behind him. Fastball was 81-83 mph on the day, some would flash a cutting action to it and some would play true. Coupled the fastball with a changeup at 76 mph with good arm speed, as well as a breaking ball with depth and tight spin at 67-70 mph that paired well with his fastball.  As a position player, Edwards throws with a long arm path from the outfield at 83 mph in to the plate

Mason Krahn, RHP, Johnson, 2023
6-foot-2, 175-pounds, in the field showed athletic actions, throws accurately with a long arm path at 82 mph across the diamond. At the plate, gets the front foot down early and lays the barrel on the ball. From the tee had an exit velocity of 82 mph. From the mound Krahn throws with a slight head wack and effort in his delivery from an over the top arm slot. Fastball came in at 78-79 mph with some natural cut. The breaking ball was 66-69 with inconsistent spin as well as a changeup at 67 mph. Krahn is one to follow as he continues to add strength and matures.

Justin Lamkin, LHP, Calallen, 2022
6-foot-3, 185-pounds, projectable frame, sturdy build with long arms and a natural tempo and rhythm to the delivery. The arm path is clean and works well with the front side. Lamkin threw his fastball on the 81-84 with a calm, effort free delivery. Also was able to show great feel for both a changeup and a curveball. Changeup came in at 76-77 mph with good arm speed as well as showing late action to the arm side with some depth, and the curveball was up to 69 mph with tight spin and depth. Lamkin has a very high ceiling and look for a lot more to come down the road from the big left hander.

Cade Warmke, LHP, Brenham, 2022
5-foot-9, 170-pounds, slightly rigid but the arms works within the delivery, throws from a high ¾ slot with a bit a deception hiding the ball. Fastball came in at 81-83 mph with some arm side run. Warmke paired the fastball with a breaking ball at 70 mph with 12-6 shape and depth to it. Breaking ball spins right but slightly rolls into the zone.
