PBR Draft Board Risers

Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

The 2018 PBR Draft Board was updated this week and several prospects made significant jumps. The latest Hotlist looks at five college and five high school players that have an arrow pointing up next to their name this spring.

Jordyn Adams, OF, Green Hope HS, NC
Adams is a star wide receiver and the son of the defensive line coach at North Carolina. He is committed to the Tar Heels for both sports and has long been expected to be unsignable and ticketed for campus because of his two-sport status and relative rawness. That may still be the case, but a strong performance in front of high-level scouts at the National High School Invitational vaulted his stock and teams have been flocking to his games since. Adams is extremely athletic and does everything on the field with ease. He uses a big leg kick to load and drives the ball with a smooth, quick swing. He takes long, easy strides to chew up ground on the bases and in center field with his 80 speed.
