In the last week of the Texas High School Baseball regular season, we have our first Co-Pitcher of the Week Award. 2018 RHP Mason Englert and 2018 LHP Jonathan Childress are household names in the scouting community, each ranked in the top ten of the Texas 2018 Class, the PBR Overall Rankings, and the PBR HS Draft 100. Not only are they teammates at Forney HS, but they are both committed to Texas A&M.

On Tuesday, Childress threw 7 innings of No-Hit baseball in a 3-0 win over North Forney. He tallied 15 strikeouts and allowed only two walks.

On Friday, Englert also threw 7 innings of No-Hit baseball in a 3-0 win over North Forney. The right-hander struck out 13 batters and allowed five walks. This makes the third time that Englert has won the award this season.

Congratulations Mason and Jonathan!
