TEXAS - Each week, PBR Texas will be showcasing a Player of the Week as well as a list of honorable mentions of some of the top performers from the week before. These are names submitted by High School Coaches. Take a look at some of the stellar performances from around the state of Texas.

Player of the Week

Tyson Neighbors, RHP/OF, Community, 2011
Kansas State Recruit. Ranked No. 58 in the Texas 2021 class rankings. Neighbors started two games for the Community Braves this past week, throwing a No-Hitter in one and earning the win in both games. In 11 innings pitched, he struck out 24 batters, and allowed only 3 hits. At the plate, earned a .538 AVG with a 1.709 OPS, collected 7 hits, 6 RBI, 3 triples, and 7 runs.

Honorable Mentions

 Jaxon Holder, SS/RHP, Aubrey, 2021
Dallas Baptist Recruit. In six games hit .875, with 14 hits. 8 RBI, 11 runs, a double, and a triple. Holder's offensive efforts help contribute to an undefeated start for the Chaparrals.  

Branden Garza, RHP, Ingleside, 2020
Hill College Recruit. The senior right-hander led his team to a 7-0 win over George West, in a flawless pitching performance that resulted in a No-Hitter. Garza would throw 7 innings, on 98 pitches, allowing no hits, no earned runs, and striking out 11.

Cam Brown, RHP, Flower Mound, 2020
Texas Christian Recruit. No. 3 in the Texas 2020 class rankings and a potential top HS draft pick in the state. Brown pitched in a big-time matchup against The Woodlands this past weekend, throwing 7 complete innings, with 13 strikeouts, allowing only 2 hits, with no walks, and no earned runs.

Kenny Brown, LHP, Rice, 2021
Brown threw in two games for the Bulldogs this past week. The southpaw would throw 9 innings, collecting 24 strikeouts, allowing only 2 hits, with no earned runs, and earning the win in both.
