Xavier commit. In a 2-0 win over Prosper (last week’s #8 Team in the PBR Texas Power 25), Lynch threw 6 ⅔ innings of shutout baseball, allowing only 1 hit, and 3 walks, while tallying 13 punchouts. Lynch is currently ranked No. 82 in the Texas 2019 Class.
Hitters
Brett Baty, 3B, Lake Travis HS, 2019
Texas commit. Baty helped lead Lake Travis to a 4-0 record last week to remain undefeated at 21-0. He was 10-for-13, 1 2B, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 9 R, 2 BB. Ranked No. 3 in TX, No. 10 Overall, and No. 56 in the PBR Draft.
Austin Plante, OF, Lake Travis HS, 2019
TCU commit. Baty may have had more hits, but Plante did plenty of damage, going 7-for-12, 3 2B, HR (Grand Slam), 6 RBI, 5 R, 3 BB/HBP.
