TEXAS - Each week, PBR Texas will be showcasing an Offensive Player of the Week as well a Pitcher of the Week. These are names submitted by High School Coaches. Honorable Mentions will be released under "Diamond Notes". Thank you to all the coaches that submitted players this week.

 

HITTER OF THE WEEK

2022 OF Christian Fernandez - South Grand Prairie 

The Senior outfielder made the most of his seven at bats this past week, tallying 5 hits and three homeruns. Fernandez added a double and two sac fly's while driving in eight for the Warriors. The Clarendon College Commit looks to stay hot as district play rolls on in 2022.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

2023 LHP Eric Bacon - Emory Rains

The Junior southpaw went to work on the mound for the wildcats. In seven innings of work, Bacon struck out seventeen hitters and walked none en route to a no-hitter, and a district win for Emory Rains.
