Rockwall returns seven players from a team that won 33 games a year ago. Leading the charge on the mound are two-way players Brooks Helmer and Diego Muniz. Helmer, a Baylor recruit, was the District MVP last year, while Muniz, an Oklahoma recruit, was an All-District SS and 2nd All-District pitcher. Both Muniz and Helmer have the ability to carry the Yellowjackets on the mound and at the plate. Both players are ranked in the PBR Texas 2018 Top 100. The 1-2 rotation is set, but the Jackets still have several other arms to call upon for starts or innings out of the bullpen. 2018 RHP Justin Childers is a strike thrower with a lot of innings under his belt. Look for 2018 LHP Chase Hux, 2019 RHP Trace Stephenson, and 2018 OF Bennett Laurence to provide depth to the bullpen.

The offensive lineup will feature Muniz and Helmer as well, to go along with 2019 IF Beau Wimpee, a TCU recruit. Wimpee is currently ranked No. 58 in TX, No. 344 Overall. 2018 OF Bennet Laurence, an Oklahoma recrut, will hold down centerfield, while 2018 OF Cole Hill be in either right, or left field. Behind the dish is 2018 C Zane Sloan, and Muniz can also put the gear on. The corner infield is strong with Helmer and Childers holding down third and first base.
