SEASON PREVIEW

Magnolia returns a ton of firepower from a team that won 24 games last year. The Bulldogs have two players that are ranked in the Top 10 of the TX 2018 Class, as well as the PBR Draft 100.  2018 RHP Adam Kloffenstein, a TCU commit that is ranked No. 4 in the Texas, has the stuff on the mound to shut down any offense. 2018 SS Jordan Groshans, a Kansas commit that is ranked No. 3 in Texas, and is already a household name among professional scouts. But there is a lot more firepower in the lineup. 2019 C Bo Willis, a Texas Tech commit, can shut down a running game from behind the plate and has the power to leave the yard. Add in returners Preston Hoffart (Blinn JC), Cody Wagner (Texas State), and Adam Nguyen (SFA), and you have a veteran lineup that should be able to defend and put up runs. The big question mark for the Bulldogs will be who steps up to take the No. 2 starter role, and what does the bullpen look like. Either way, Magnolia has the offense that could carry them a long way in 2018.
