EVENT HISTORY

Last time we were in San Antonio was in January and the event helped us identify some San Antonio area talents that we’d not yet seen or had taken significant jumps in their development, like OF/RHP Zachary Gingrich (Smithson Valley, 2024), who left this event as an arrow-up prospect after running a 6.83 60YD and throwing 86 from the OF. Another standout from the day was RHP/INF Trip Ancheta (Clyde, 2024), who really showed well on the mound, running his FB up to 89 and spinning a quality breaking ball. Possibly the biggest pop up player from the event was RHP Kaleb Rogers (Reagan, 2025), who hopped on the mound and was up to 88 with a clean arm action.

2023 ROSTER

There’s a handful of players headed to Lake Dallas on Tuesday who we’ve seen before and are excited to get an up-to-date look on, like LHP/1B Cole Johnson (Pieper, 2026). We saw Johnson at the San Antonio Preseason ID, in January where he impressed on the mound, showing the ability to throw 3 pitches for strikes. The frame suggests there is more velo to come as well. There are a lot of new faces on the roster as well and we look forward to getting a closer look at the talent around San Antonio.
