HS Playoffs 2018
Texas A&M commit. 6-foot-1, 170-pound, lean, long-limbed frame. The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with a long, loose arm swing. Repeats his delivery with an athletic finish and good tempo down the mound. His fastball was 89-91 in the first inning, flashing arm side life at the bottom of the zone. Showed really good command of his slider at 75-76, with 11/5 shape and sharp break. Mowed through the Plano West lineup first time through the order, jamming hitters with his fastball, and getting swings and misses on his slider. Was able to throw the slider both early and late in the count, dotting up the outer half. The pitch is equally effective to left-handed hitters. Took a hard fought loss, but still a quality outing with 6 innings pitched, allowed 3 runs (all off one pitch), on 4 hits, 2 walks, and 7 punch outs.

HS Preseason 2018
The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with a long, loose arm swing and athletic lower half. He touched 90 in the first inning, settling in at 86-88 from the windup and 84-85 out of the stretch. Does a nice job of repeating his delivery. Showed excellent feel for a 10/4 slider at 73-76 mph, and punched out three batters with it. Curveball has more 11/5 shape with good depth at 70-72 mph.

6-foot, 145-pound projectable frame. Works from a high-¾ slot with long clean arm action. Showed advanced feel for both fastball and slider in his first bullpen session of the fall. Only put the gun up for one fastball at 82 mph.
