Texas Player Rankings - 2024 Class

This class is a great mixture of future power arms, both right and left handed, athletes, power bats, and premium defenders in the middle of the field. Lets take a quick look at a the top 5. 

The top two spots are occupied by Cade Arrambide and Theo Gillen. Arrambide, Florida commit, is a promising young catcher that has everything you could ask for in a guy behind the plate, as well as at the dish. He shows the ability to receive, block, and throw at a high level for a such a young catcher. Arrambide also has plenty of juice in the bat now and will only continue to get better as he matures. Gillen is a high waisted, high pockets, high level athlete that can run. He plays middle infield now and may ultimately stay there as he continues to develop as a ball player, but there's no doubt he could trot to CF and have no problem out there if needed as well. 

Texas has always been known for having power arms and once again, this first crop of arms doesn't disappoint. The class is lead by Jack Frankel, a polished right hander with 4 pitches for strikes and a two breaking balls, both that show extremely high spin rates as well as feel for them in the zone. Casan Evans and Ridge Morgan round out the top 5 and are also a couple of young loose arms that have loads of promise as they continue to develop into the power arms they will become.
