He allowed only four hits, one walk and struck out one Atascocita batter. The Woodlands was led offensively by Shane Sirdashney, who went 2-for-3, and Vince Secrest who was 1-for-3 and added a run for the Highlanders. Left-hander Alden Blest was equally effective for Atascocita as he tossed 6 innings, scattered 4 hits, 2 walks, and struck out 8 Woodlands batters. marcus vs. the woodlands - 03.09.17

The Marcus Marauders would have another come-from-behind victory on the day, this time coming back in the sixth and seventh innings. The final score would not be indicative of the game, but Marcus would come away with a 9-1 victory over The Woodlands.
