Dallas Preseason ID: Preview Story
January 11, 2025
This Sunday, January 12th, the Prep Baseball Texas team is hosting the Dallas Preseason ID at NTXBC Indoor in Keller, TX. This is an open event for all high school classes (2025-28), and gives our staff an ample look at the area's top players.

2025 ROSTER
This year's roster is already shaping up nicely.
C/3B Andrew Humphries (Billy Ryan, 2027) is a backstop to know in the state's sophomore class. Currently ranked No. 141 in the state, Humphries was a standout this fall at our Dallas Fall ID, where he showed the potential to really stick behind the dish at the next level. The right-handed hitter also displayed the ability to generate bat speed and power to the big part of the field.
RHP/3B Kellan McWhinnie (Plano East, 2027) is a two-way prospect who will be in attendance, currently ranked No. 174 in the state. McWhinnie showed some present tools back when we saw him in the summer at the Dallas Summer ID, and we are looking forward to seeing how he's progressed at this event.
1B/RHP Jonathon Dane Oud (Como-Pickton, 2026) is an uncommitted junior that will be in attendance on Sunday. The 6-foot-3, 197-pound two-way showed upside on the mound and with the bat this past summer at the North Texas Upperclass Uncommitted Games, and is a name to know moving forward in the state's junior class.
