QUICK HITS
Ben Robinson (Waxahachie, 2028) is a smooth infielder with good actions and above-average lateral movement. At 6'0", 180lb, his arm strength stands out as advanced for his age, making him a reliable defender on the dirt. At the plate, Robinson shows good bat speed and the ability to spray line drives to all fields. As he continues to add strength, expect him to develop more power to complement his contact approach. Robinson is a promising young player with plenty of upside.
Cole Bush (Denton Ryan, 2026) is a bouncy athlete who profiles as a top-of-the-order bat. He features a line-drive approach with excellent barrel control, keeping his bat in the zone for an extended time and maxing out at a 96 mph exit velocity. Bush shows solid arm strength, projecting as a long-term center fielder, and has room to add strength to his already athletic frame. With good bat speed and plenty of projection, Bush is a dynamic player to watch.
Andrew Humphries (Denton Ryan, 2027) is a 5'10", 200-pound sophomore catcher, boasting a strong frame and solid defensive skills. A consistent performer behind the plate, he records pop times in the 1.9s and handles the position well. At the plate, Humphries shows pull-side power with a max exit velocity of 92 mph and continues to impress with his development. A reliable player with a strong work ethic, Humphries is one to watch as he progresses.
Landon Bertucci (Rowlett, 2025) is a 6'1", 235lb RHP that brings a physical presence on the mound with a high 3/4 arm slot and a fastball topping out at 87 mph. A strike-thrower with an up-tempo delivery, Bertucci mixes in a low-70s curveball with spin rates over 2300 rpm that he consistently throws for strikes. His changeup, sitting at 80-81 mph, features arm-side run, adding another weapon to his arsenal. Bertucci’s ability to command his pitches and work with tempo makes him a reliable arm and a pitcher to watch as he continues to develop.
John Rivers (Southlake Carroll, 2027) is a talented L/L prospect with a plus arm that topped out at 88 mph. At the plate, the 6'1", 185lb left-handed hitter shows good bat speed and posted a max exit velocity of 92.3 mph. With his athleticism and projectable frame, Rivers has the potential to develop significant power as he continues to mature. He’s an exciting young player to keep an eye on.
Connor Rodriguez (Denton Guyer, 2026) showcased a simple, efficient swing that he repeated consistently, producing hard contact and topping out at a 94.1 mph exit velocity. Behind the plate, Rodriguez is a reliable receiver with solid defensive skills. As his arm strength continues to improve, he has the potential to take his game to the next level.
Cooper Gonzalez (Denton Ryan, 2027) showcased good actions across the board. He moves well on the dirt with smooth footwork and a loose arm, projecting as a reliable defender. At the plate, Gonzalez features a short, compact swing, staying behind the ball and consistently driving line drives to all fields. As he continues to add strength, his game is poised to elevate to the next level.
