We have already released a Statistical Analysis from the event, that highlights the top measurable data performers from the event. Today, we will highlight the top players that stood out to our staff over the course of the event.

QUICK HITS

INF Canon Lightfoot (Brock, 2026), a standout 2024 Prep Baseball Future Gamer, continues to impress with his growth and development. When we saw him on Friday, he looked noticeably stronger, showing improved metrics across the board. A left-handed hitter, Canon combines excellent barrel control with developing power, making him a consistent offensive threat. Defensively, he’s a solid presence at shortstop with a strong arm and reliable glove. Known for his high baseball IQ and winning mentality, Canon is the kind of player who elevates his team every time he steps on the field.

INF Jayden Moeller (Keller, 2027) is a confident 2027 infielder with a solid foundation and room to grow. At 5’11” and 160 pounds, he has a good frame to add strength as he matures. Offensively, he shows promise with a max exit velocity of 92 mph and a max distance of 339 feet, projecting a solid bat/power combo in the future. Defensively, Jayden displays smooth actions, quick feet, and an 86 mph arm with good carry. His athleticism and poise on the field make him a player to watch as he continues to develop in the 2027 class.

INF Brooks Kowal (Dallas Jesuit, 2026) is an exciting young talent who showcased his all-around game in impressive fashion. The 2026 prospect ran a solid 6.95 60-yard dash, flashed a 90 mph arm from both the infield and outfield, and recorded a top exit velocity of 98.2 mph with a max distance of 373 feet at the plate. As a key piece of a loaded Jesuit High School roster, Brooks has the versatility to contribute on both sides of the ball. With plenty of projection left, he’s a player to watch as he continues to develop.

C/INF Oliver Minyard (Woodrow Wilson, 2026) is a 2026 prospect with a strong foundation and exciting potential. At 6'0" and 182 pounds, he has a solid frame with room to add strength as he matures. Primarily a catcher and third baseman, Oliver possesses a well-rounded skill set that stands out defensively and offensively. A right-handed hitter, Oliver showcases a promising bat/power combination with a max exit velocity of 101 mph and an average of 90.8 mph, including a 371-foot max distance. He demonstrates a good load and lower-half usage. Oliver has the tools and physicality to make a significant impact. His combination of a developing bat and defensive versatility makes him an exciting player to watch in the 2026 class.

INF/RHP Cole Jeffery (Peaster, 2025) is a well-rounded 2025 prospect with the tools to excel on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he displayed impressive power, recording a max exit velocity of 98.6 mph and a max distance of 389 feet, showcasing his ability to drive the ball with authority. His strong frame makes him a middle-of-the-order bat with significant upside. Defensively, Cole profiles well at third base, featuring an 87 mph arm across the diamond with plenty of carry and strength to handle the position. On the mound, he showed a fastball topping at 87 mph and a three-pitch mix, demonstrating his versatility and potential as a two-way player. With his combination of power, defensive reliability, and pitching ability, Cole is a standout uncommitted 2025 prospect and a valuable addition for any program.

OF Colton Patton (Boyd, 2026) is a 2026 switch-hitting outfielder with a solid foundation and plenty of projection. At 5’11” and 179 pounds, he has a strong frame to add future strength, which will enhance his already promising bat/power combo. He recorded a max exit velocity of 98 mph and a max distance of 360 feet, with consistent line-drive contact and opportunities to refine his lower-half mechanics for added power. Defensively, Colton moves well to the ball, showing clean fundamentals and an 88 mph arm with good carry. A 6.92 runner in the 60, he has solid athleticism and room to improve his quickness. With his tools and room for growth, Colton is a prospect to watch in the 2026 class.

SS/2B David Dagnino (Trinity, 2026) is an exciting 2026 infielder that plays with a lot of bounce. At 5’9”, 147 pounds, he projects to add strength as he matures, which should enhance his developing bat/power combo (max exit velocity of 94 mph). Defensively, David displays smooth actions, reliable footwork, and an accurate 83 mph arm with good carry. He’s also a plus runner, posting a 6.73 in the 60, highlighting his athleticism and versatility on the field. With continued growth and refinements, David will be a fun player to watch progress this spring.

Standing at 6’3” and 195 pounds, RHP/1B Cameron Ireland (Keller, 2026) is a projectable right-hander whose fastball has already been in the upper 80s, and we expect him to touch 90 mph this spring. His delivery features a side-step rocker, high knee lift, and some drop-and-drive from the back leg, showing decent explosiveness off the rubber. While there’s room for adjustment—particularly in keeping his front shoulder closed—his arm works well from a true three-quarter slot, flashing solid arm speed. He pairs his fastball with a slider (72-74 mph) that shows promising shape and spin, and a splitter (71-73 mph) displaying down action. With Keller losing many innings to graduation, Cameron has an excellent opportunity to earn significant mound time this spring.

Standing at 6’7” and 215 pounds, LHP/1B Reid Davis (Lake Highlands, 2025) has a tall, projectable frame that will continue to fill out, giving him an imposing presence on the mound. He works from a low three-quarter arm slot with a fluid delivery, doing a nice job of staying online and finishing well over his front side. Reid’s fastball currently sits in the 79-81 mph range, touching 81, with good angle to the plate—particularly against right-handed hitters. He mixes in three secondary pitches effectively: a curveball (69-71 mph) with a solid feel and spin, a slider (70-71 mph) showing depth, and a changeup (77-78 mph) featuring tail and sink. Already around the zone with all four offerings, Reid projects as a dependable strike thrower whose velocity and overall stuff should continue to climb as he matures physically. His size, pitchability, and room for growth make him an exciting prospect to watch.

LHP/1B John Beavers (Elysian Fields, 2026) is a 6’0”, 203-pound left-hander with a sturdy build and room for added strength. On the mound, he features a fastball in the 80–83 mph range (topping at 83), mixing in a curveball, slider, and changeup that all show promise. With continued mechanical refinements—particularly in keeping his front side closed—and physical maturity, he projects to gain velocity and improve command. Also a left-handed hitter and first baseman, John shows a solid glove at the corner and the potential for a promising bat/power combo as he develops. A 7.23 runner in the 60, he has enough athleticism to make an impact on both sides of the ball.
