On Saturday, February 11th, PBR Utah hosted it's first identification showcase of the 2023 season, the Utah Preseason ID at The Hive, Juab High School's Fieldhouse. 

Preseason ID's allow our staff to get a look at players ahead of the high school season, as well as offer players a chance to update their profiles and metrics as they head into the season. The events also serve as identifiers for invite-only showcases in Utah and nationally, including the Future and Jr. Future Games, West Coast Games, Utah Preseason All-State Games, Utah Top Prospect Games and Utah All-State Games.

The event featured players from the 2023 - 2026 classes and gave our staff a look at over 70 players from across the State. We had some good showings from some unsigned 2023s and 2024s, as well some intriguing underclassmen who are just jumping onto the scene.

At this event, we retrieved a significant amount of data on each player including: 60 Times, Batting Practice measured by TrackMan and Blast Motion, Catch Pop Time and Velocity, Outfield Evaluation and Velocity, Infield Evaluation and Velocity, Pitcher Bullpens analyzed and assessed by TrackMan. We pride ourselves on utilizing the latest technology in the game to provide the most accurate data for both the player and those recruiting/evaluating the player.
