OUTLOOK:
Washington-Lee enters the 2015 season with six (6) returning starters on their roster.  After finishing 13-10 last season, and losing to the 6A State Championship Runner-Up Chantilly in the Regionals, the Generals will use team speed and solid defense on their journey back to the postseason.  Anchoring the offense and defense will be Will Burgess (SS, 2016).  Burgess is an impact player both at the plate and in the field that sets the tone for the Generals.  Burgess’ impact cannot be overlooked with the loss of catcher Chris Seymour due to injury.  Providing plenty of help in this balanced lineup will be Cameron Anderson, Jeff Constanz, TR Sheehy, Teddy Hebert, and Andy Collins.  Washington-Lee will count on their #1, Hebert (RHP, 2016), to carry the load throughout the year with a lack of depth on the mound.  For Herbert, this should be an easy task for the 6-2, 200 lb. pitcher that pitches in the low to mid 80’s with feel for a changeup.
