Outlook:
Georgetown Prep had an outstanding 2014 season that saw them win the Independent Athletic Conference regular season crown before finishing as the IAC Tournament Runners-up. The 2015 Hoyas should again be a strong team as they bring back over half of their lineup and the majority of their pitching staff. The lineup will be led by Brian Dempsey (MIF, 2016), Chandler Redmond (CIF, 2015), and Vince Walker (OF, 2016). The rotation will be anchored by Andrew Ashur (LHP, 2015), Matthew Mervis (RHP/IF, 2016), and Zach Seal (IF/RHP, 2016). The Hoyas will have a potentially dominant pitching staff this spring that will be paired with a strong, fundamentally sound defense. Georgetown Prep will again be among the favorites to win the IAC this spring.
