Outlook:
Grassfield is coming off a solid 2014 which saw them finish third in the Monitor-Merrimac Conference before being eliminated just short of the 6A South Regional Tournament. The Grizzlies will be dangerous as they have one of the best collection of arms in the Commonwealth. The staff will be led by Division I commits Garrett Stallings (RHP, 2016), Hunter Perdue (RHP, 2017), and Brett Smith (RHP, 2015). Grassfield’s offense will be led by power bat Andrew Bullock (1B, 2015) and their double play combo of Dwight Riddick (2B, 2016) and Austin Obenour (SS, 2016). The Grizzlies have the elite arms to compete in the 6A South if they can generate consistent offense in big games this year.
