Outlook:
Maury is coming off of a strong 2014 season, which saw them compile an 18-5 record overall before falling in the first round of the playoffs. The Commodores lost most of their line-up to graduation, but do return two good arms. The team will be led by pitchers Paul Hall Jr. (LHP, 2015) and Josh Smith (RHP, 2015) in 2015. Youngsters Warren Bailey (C, 2017), Patrick Rowan (LHP/OF, 2018), and Andrew Califano (SS/RHP, 2018) will have a chance to compete for playing time in the field. Maury will be very strong on the mound and athletic defensively, but will need offensive contributions from new faces to be competitive this spring in the Atlantic Conference.
