As we prepare for the upcoming 2015 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

Outlook:
South County is coming off of a decent 2014 season that saw them finish .500 in the regular season before being eliminated in the first round of the 6A Northern Region tournament. The 2015 Stallions look to be better as they return a handful of starters from the line-up and two of their arms. The rotation will be led by Michael Cook (RHP, 2015). The lineup and defense will be led by Eddie Nevins (C/IF, 2015), Blake Byers (MIF, 2016), Kyle Foley (OF, 2016), and youngster Austin Gauthier (MIF, 2017). The 2015 Stallions will be strong defensively and if they get good pitching and their sophomores and juniors grow up quickly, South County could be competitive in the Patriot Conference and return to the 6A Northern Region Tournament.
