Outlook:
Westfield is coming off of a decent 2014 season under first-year coach Rob Hahne that saw them make the 6A Northern Region tournament before their season came to an end. The 2015 Bulldogs will be affected by graduation as they only return a handful of their major contributors from last year’s squad. The lineup will be led by Mason Scoville (CIF, 2015) and Nick Render (OF, 2015). The pitching staff will be led by returners Kenny Barry (RHP, 2015) and Michael Scruggs (RHP, 2015). The Bulldogs have a talented group of youngsters to supplement their talented group of seniors. If they can get solid production from the new faces to the lineup and pitching staff this spring, they will be a dangerous team in the highly competitive Concorde Conference and could return to the 6A North tournament.
