Jacob Lingle (LHP/OF, 2017)
Eli Ottinger (RHP/3B, 2017) Ottinger has a projectable frame and a good fastball and breaking ball combination. Ottinger is currently ranked 23rd in the VA/DC Class of 2017 Rankings.
Gregory Ryan (SS/2B, 2018, Pittsburgh) Ryan is an athletic middle infielder with a ton of upside as a hitter and defender. He is currently ranked 20th in the VA/DC Class of 2018 Rankings.
Will Simon (1B/RHP, 2017, Richmond)
Simon has a projectable frame and is one of the top hitters in his class in Virginia. Simon is currently ranked 11th in the VA/DC Class of 2017 Rankings.
Joe Triano (2B, 2016, Lynchburg)
Matthew Vergara (OF/RHP, 2017)
Reece Yeargain (C, 2016)

SEASON OUTLOOK
Benedictine had an outstanding 2015 season that saw the Cadets reach the VISAA playoffs and fall in the quarterfinals in extra innings to a very talented St. Anne’s Belfield team. The Cadets have lost a lot of talent to graduation and will have to replace over eighty percent of their innings and at-bats from 2015. The 2016 Cadets will be young, but very talented. The pitching staff will be very deep and has a ton of upside. Triano, Simon, Ryan, and Vergara will be the centerpieces of a potentially good lineup. If Benedictine stays healthy and can take advantage of their deep pitching staff, the Cadets will improve as the season progresses and be a dangerous team in the VISAA playoffs again this spring.
