PLAYERS TO WATCH
Kyle Gotimer (1B/UTL, 2017) Gotimer is versatile and is a vocal leader on the field for Heritage.
Brandon Keiper (3B, 2016, UVA-Wise) Keiper led Heritage in RBIs in 2015.
Chad Koehler (C, 2016) Koehler is a fourth year starter behind the plate for the Pride.
Matt Lannes (OF, 2017) Lannes finished second on the team in batting average in 2015.
Luke Schaub (CF, 2017) Schaub finished his sophomore season third on the team in hitting.
Cameron Taylor (RHP, 2017) Taylor led Heritage in wins, innings pitched, and ERA as a sophomore in 2015. He has a low 80s fastball and a good three pitch mix.

SEASON OUTLOOK
Heritage is coming off of an up and down 2015 season that saw a lot of young players gain valuable varsity experience for the Pride. 2016 should see Heritage as much improved team as they bring back eight starters and Cameron Taylor on the mound. Taylor will anchor a rotation this spring that does not have a ton of experience around him. The defense will be very good with Koehler leading it from behind the plate again. The lineup should be more experienced this spring and better at producing consistent good at-bats. If Heritage can generate more consistent offense against the quality pitching that they will face every night in the Dulles District and the if the Pride can find some depth behind Taylor on the mound, Heritage will have a chance to be one of the most improved teams in 4A West this spring.
