PLAYERS TO WATCH
Justin Hanvey (SS, 2018)
Zack Lockhart (RHP/1B, 2016)
Ryan Miles (RHP/3B, 2017) Miles contributes on the mound and in the field. On the mound he is a low-80s arm with a good breaking ball. At third, Miles has good footwork, clean exchanges, and an accurate arm. At the plate he has a quick bat and a line drive stroke with the potential to develop gap or better power.
Austin Rader (LHP/1B, 2016, Naval Academy) Rader is an athletic lefty with a mid-80s fastball and a very good change-up, both of which he commands well. Rader is currently ranked 42nd in the Class of 2016 Rankings.
Colin Reid (LHP/OF, 2016, Radford) Reid is a talented two-way player who will play center and pitch for the Wolverines. He sits consistently in the mid-80s with a good breaking ball and change-up combination. Reid is currently ranked 77th in the Class of 2016 Rankings.
Tommy Wozny (C, 2017)

SEASON OUTLOOK
Woodgrove won its conference in 2015 and advanced to the Regional Semifinals before the Wolverines saw their season come to an end just short of a State Tournament berth. The Wolverines bring back a very good squad in 2016 that will feature Rader and Reid leading a group of four talented arms that can get batters out with three pitches. Woodgrove will be solid defensively up the middle with both middle infielders returning and Reid back in centerfield. The Wolverines have a lineup full of hitters who will hit for high average but will need to string together multiple hits to score. If Woodgrove can score consistently for their talented group of pitchers, the Wolverines will again challenge to come out of 4A West and get to the State Tournament
