Outlook
One of the more underatted conferences in the state of Virginia is the Seminole district, containing some of the Lynchburg area finest schools who pick each other apart during the regular season. This year could be a very interesting one for the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers, with over half their lineup returning this season and seven pitchers with experience returning led by junior LHP Griffin Agee, one of the biggest risers from 2017. Agee transformed himself into a top in state propect by the end of of the year. Agee should see a bigger role this season and assume a starter position after serving last season as closer / top reliever. We see this talented lefty putting together an impressive campaign in 2018. The offense will be paced by Dylan Kramer and Griffin Wooldridge this year as they will once again hold down the middle of the order. Look for an bigger role coming this year from Josiah Calkins and young 2020 Jackson Cherry, who gained valuable experience during his freshmen campaign with a nice workload of playing time. Biggest question mark would have to go to who else is going to round out the top of the pitching staff this season. Look for the Cavaliers for a top half finish this 2018.
