Saturday, February 8 saw nearly 20 players from the Mid-Atlantic region take the field inside Tuckahoe Sports Institute outside of Richmond for the third annual Mid-Atlantic Procase. In attendance were a handful of pro scouts as well as PBR National Supervisor and pro scout, Nathan Rode, and the PBR VA/DC and MD/DE scouting staffs.

Rode discussed a few players in his story on Mid-Atlantic and North Carolina Procase Highlights earlier this week. Below are some of our quick-hitter thoughts on players that he did not discuss.

Nic Britt SS / 2B / Greenbrier Christian, VA / 2020

Britt is a William & Mary commit who showed an easy fluid swing at the plate, where he is short to the ball and strong at contact with length through it. Still has projection left with easy gap power now and potential to add more as he continues to add strength. At short, has very quick soft hands and a nice clean exchange. Good feet and quickness as well.

Brandon Eike 3B / RHP / Powhatan, VA / 2020

Eike is a North Carolina commit and has a well-developed very strong athletic frame. At third, quiet clean feet, rounds ball and fields with soft hands. Clean exchange with enough arm strength, didn't air it out at this point in the season and also was not ramped up to pitch yet. At the plate, he can flat out impact a baseball. Quiet setup, short to ball, simple swing with a ton of strength and extension through the ball. Uses his levers to generate a lot of power to all fields.

Braeson Fulton C / 3B / Riverheads, VA / 2020

Fulton has an athletic frame and is a James Madison commit. Quick and athletic, he moves well behind the plate and on the bases, quick exchange with some arm strength on his throws, good receiver. At the plate, has a high barrel awareness and is short to the ball. Strong at contact, power to gaps, chance to hit for a high average with plenty of doubles and some home run power.

Zach Martin OF / RHP / Middletown, MD / 2021

Martin is a Maryland commit. He has projection left to his frame and he hits from the left side with a quiet simple swing. Quick to ball with strength at contact and extension through the ball. Had the top exit velocity at the event and also showed some arm strength in the outfield.

Quade Tomlin SS / 2B / Liberty Christian Academy, VA / 2020

Tomlin is a Liberty commit and while he didn't air it out from the infield, his soft hands and smooth actions were on display during the defense. Offensively, his swing is short to the ball, very smooth and easy, strong at contact with good extension through the ball and natural loft built into his swing.

Carter Trice SS / 2B / Lee Davis, VA / 2020

Trice is an Old Dominion commit and is very versatile, working out in the outfield, infield, and at catcher. He showed arm strength and quick hands from all three positions. At the plate, showed a quick bat with extension through the ball and some pop.

Tre Williams RHP / OF / South County, VA / 2020

Williams is a Florence-Darlinginton JC commit and has a long, lanky frame with a lot of projection left to it. At the plate, he is short and quick to the ball with extension through it, line drive hitter now with carry in the gaps and a chance to add power as he fills out. On the mound, Williams was 88-91 with a clean loose arm action, easy effort. Showed some feel for three offspeed pitches, including a power knuckleball.
