First Colonial pulled away for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Barnes was hit by a pitch, driving in a run, Stein drew a walk, scoring one run, Peterson singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs, and Proctor singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. Wian was on the pitcher's mound for First Colonial. The fireballer surrendered three runs on five hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one. Nathan Hawley was on the hill for Cod. The righthander lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out seven. Sam Slevin and Kyle Edwards entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and two-thirds innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively. Ethan Anderson led Cox with three hits in three at bats. Peterson went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead First Colonial in hits.

Lee-Davis weathered a push by Atlee in the third inning where Lee-Davis coughed up three runs, but Lee-Davis still won 7-4 on Friday. Atlee scored its runs on a sacrifice fly by Connor Konecny. Lee-Davis took the lead for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Cameron Lamb singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run and Dallas Hairfield singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs. Jalen Strattman earned the win for Lee-Davis. Strattman allowed one hit and three runs over three innings, striking out three. Dylan Robbins threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Robbins recorded the last 12 outs to earn the save for Lee-Davis.

Saturday, May 8th

Wilson 4 - St. Albans 0 

Two Pitchers Team Up As Wilson Tigers Varsity Defeats St. Albans In Shut-Out Wilsom defeated St. Albans 4-0 on Thursday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Wander closed it out. In the second inning, Wilson got their offense started. Leckszas grounded out, scoring one run. One bright spot for St. Albans was a single by Matthews in the second inning. Danny Ringle got the win for Wilson. The bulldog lasted six innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out seven. Wander threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
