On Monday night, PBR VA/DC went to the Hillcats Prime scout day and took profile videos and stats for players of the Northern Virginia travel program. The majority of the players at the event were members of the Class of 2019, but the Classes of 2020 and 2021 were also represented as well. Here are some quick notes on players who stood out at the workout:

-W.T. Woodson 2020 OF/RHP Tyler Brocato had the fastest 60 time of the group, running a 6.94. Very lanky frame has a short swing with the potential to have some batspeed as he gets stronger.

-2019 West Springfield C David Giorgis had the top pop time of the event, showing a consistent quick release and some arm strength behind the plate. His throws were also consistently accurate. At the plate, he showed some strength and batspeed and the potential for doubles power.

-Thomas Jefferson 2019 OF/LHP Todd Hartman showed the makings of a strong arm in the outfield to go with a bat that has some quickness and doubles potential. Hartman also showed feel for a four pitch arsenal on the mound, touching 81 with his fastball.

-Falls Church 2019 Cameron Karicher showed himself as a potentially intriguing two-way player. Karicher hit 79 on the mound and has some feel for a secondary arsenal. He also ran a 7.26 60 and showed well at short while showing a short line drive swing with high average potential.

-Stuart 2019 SS Archer Rutledge had one of the quicker 60 times with a 7.02. He has a ton of upside and is a very raw talent with a lot of athleticism who could end up being a very good shortstop with a bat that has extra base potential.

-Stuart 2019 C/RHP Quincy Wilkins has a big frame and showed some strength at the plate. Showed two-way ability with the capability of going behind the plate and then having some potential on the mound with a clean loose arm action that offers upside.
