Scouting Report (PBR Future Games 7.30.15)
Barker has a lanky frame and throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. He has a loose, quick arm, generating velocity with normal effort. Shoulders are closed and uphill, square landing with a slight fall off. Fastball had slight late run, sitting 84-86. Curveball had late gradual 10/4 break, running 72-75. At the plate, Barker hits from the right side with an open stance. Leg kick stride and smooth load back. Short swing with above average bat speed. Line drive approach, works gap to gap.

Basse is 5-10 and has an athletic frame. Long loose arm action from a high three-quarters arm slot. Above average arm strength with accuracy, position velocity of 81. Fluid footwork and a quick, clean exchange, playing through the ball. Hit from the right side with an open stance. Loads back with a leg kick stride, explosive lower half and good balance throughout the swing. Fast bat with a longer, level swing path. Pull approach with some pop, exit velocity of 94. 60 time was 7.21.

7.14.15 Gibson has a strong, athletic frame and throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. He has a long arm action and a quick arm that generates velocity with regular effort. His shoulders are slightly closed and uphill as he strides out on line to a square landing with a slight fall off. Gibson’s fastball had some sink and run to it and was 79-81 from the windup and 75-76 in the stretch. He threw a gradual 10/4 breaking slider with inconsistent arm action that ran 62-72. He slowed his arm a bit on his changeup, the pitch had some sink and he commanded it well in the 61-67 range.  Offensively, hit form a balanced, tall stance. Slight load back with with short stride stride that stays on line. At times had a slight bar arm. Front foot opened on stride.  Fluid rhythm. Lower half exploded to the ball. Explosive bat speed. Bat exit velocity of 88 MPH. Great approach to the round.  Swing path was level with good extension.  Hitter with pull power. In the field, threw from a long, loose high ¾ arm slot. Throws had some accuracy. Positional velocity of 73 MPH. Average hands with slow feet. Fielded on heels.  Clean exchanges.

Kleinfelter stands 6-1 and has a strong athletic frame. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a long, loose arm action that is quick, generating velocity with some effort. Shoulders are level, stays on line to a square landing with a slight fall off finish. Fastball had hard run, sitting 84-86. Slowed arm a bit on curveball, which had gradual 11/5 break at 64-67. Slowed arm a bit on fading change-up that was 73.

Price is 5-11 and has a lankier athletic frame, throwing from a high three-quarters arm slot with smooth drop and drive delivery. Long, loose arm action that is quick with some effort. Shoulders are uphill and closed and he lands square with an athletic finish and recoil. Fastball sat 84-85 with late run. Late-breaking sharp 11/5 curveball with good armspeed was 68-73. Outstanding change-up with good armspeed and fade was 73-76. Showed good command off all three pitches.

Reddington is 6-2 and has a strong lower half. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a long, loose arm action that is quick with normal effort. Drop and drive delivery with shoulders uphill and closed. Lands closed with athletic finish. Four seam fastball had plane and slight cut, sitting 81-83. Two-seamer was 80-83, touching 84 with late run. Curveball had 12/6 break and ran 69-70 with decent armspeed. Straight change-up with good armspeed was 77-79. Slider had hard, late 10/4 break and was 71-73.

Sigler stands 5-11, 190-pounds. He hits from an athletic and balanced stance. He exhibits a short stride with good balance throughout the swing. He has a level swing that should produce line drives. His exit velocity of 88 shows good strength and bat speed. Defensively, Sigler threw 82 from the outfield from a long arm, over the top arm action.  He utilized an athletic fielding position with solid hands and feet working through his transfer and throws.

Strong frame at 6-foot-2, 185-pounds. Hits from a slight open, wider set up. Takes a short path to the baseball with some whip in hands and batspeed. Shows nice rhythm throughout. Pull side power potential. Exit velocity of 88 mph. Quick, lower exchange behind the plate. Shorter arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. As he learns to use the run on his throws should be more accurate. Nice carry on the throws with 78 mph velocity from behind plate. Pop time ranged from 1.96 - 2.2.

Projectable frame and body for a young 2019 arm. pitches 82-85 mph topping out at 86 mph. Has great feel at a young age for his slider at 71-74 mph. Competes well on the mound with a strong mound presence. Smart on the mound and knows how to pitch for a young player. Was an impact arm on the Western Branch HS roster as a freshmen.
