The PBR Virginia/DC uncommitted player spotlights looks at players still available in all classes. Now in November, we continue our focus on the uncommitted talent available in the 2017 class. There is still plenty of talent available in the state of Virginia that can help a program. Here is the latest addition to the uncommitted player spotlights.

Tre'von Smith
110Grad: 2017
Pos: OF
HT/WT: 6-foot-0, 235-pounds
HS: Orange Co.

SCOUTING REPORT

5.22.16:  Smith is a big, physical player at 6’0 235. He has a balanced stance and a level, explosive swing. He should exhibit power to the gap at the next level with an exit velocity of 95. His offense and power is a plus tool. As a corner outfielder, Smith showed a 79 positional velocity from a long high three quarter arm slot. He played through the ball well in his defensive work.
