Today PBR Virginia/DC updates and expands our Class of 2019 ranking to the top 130 across the commonwealth. As with all of our rankings, the PBR VA/DC is a direct result of our boots on the ground approach to scouting. After a busy fall covering our Virginia events, fall tournaments, plus our national coverage down in Florida, we give you our latest update.

No change at the top of the rankings in our first two spots as Carson Jones (Deep Run) and Liam Deegan (Godwin) both stay at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively. Both future Virginia Cavaliers have continued to impress throughout the summer, although the competition might be narrowing the gap.

Moving up to the No. 3 spot is Woodgrove RHP Nick Lockhart (Va Tech), who continues to bring intrigue with his projectable frame and velocity after an impressive summer, showing a fastball in the upper 80's with more in the tank. Griffin Agee (Virginia) moves up four spots to No. 4 as the lefty out of Jefferson Forest might currently have the best combination of projection and command of the strikezone. Cortland Lawson (Tennessee) of Paul VI moves up five spots to No. 5.

Biggest riser into the top ten goes to Benedictine RHP Casey Green (Coastal Carolina). Green spent most of the spring recovering from arm injury, but put his summer and fall to good use as his fastball continued to climb as his arm got in better shape.

Overall six new faces make their way into the top 35, with top newcomers being Tallwood C Hyatt Hurst and Highland RHP Matthew Michel who enter into the top 20. Top riser outside of the top ten goes to West Potomac RHP Jimmy Curley.
