After a wild 2018 spring season we update the Class of 2019 rankings as summer baseball is about to go into full swing.

We have a new face at the top of the 2019 rankings as LHP Griffin Agee has taken over the No. 1 spot in the rankings. Agee has continually progressed up the charts over the course of the past year, beginning to fill into his projectable and lanky frame. This spring the lefty sat at 90 mph from a low slot. The light effort in his delivery paired with a frame that should be able to add onto, there is plenty of reason to believe his best years are still to come.

Moving up to the No. 2 spot is RHP Nick Lockhart from Woodgrove HS. Another long and lanky framed pitcher, this righty has continued to climb this spring with his power fastball and quick arm speed. Lockhart's projection paired with his current ability give reason to believe there are a few more jumps left in his development as well.

The 2019 class in Virginia is a very competitive class with no real clear cut person separating from the pack. six months from now you could easily see another complete shift from the top 15 in the class. The summer usually begins to split up the pack, so it will be very interesting to see how the summer fares for this class.

Newest face to the rankings is SS/3B Jamari Baylor from Benedictine. Baylor transferred this year to the Cadets and reclassified to the 2019 class, and that looks to have been a great move for the talent. Baylor impressed immensely this spring with his glove work, explosive bat, and athleticism around the diamond. Baylor could emerge after this summer as a top draft prospect out of the state.

One final news of note: Our rankings of the 2019 will now be in real time, so they will be updated continually as we get to see players and discover new talent. Periodically we will have releases to announce new faces to the rankings as well as risers in the rankings.

Enough talk, lets take a look at the top ten.
