Nearly fifty players found their way into the most recent VA/DC Class of 2024 Rankings Update.

We have highlighted a few through our High & Tight Podcast, rankings releases, Big Movers, and now our New Faces series. This is a two-part series that will highlight almost a dozen players that made their way into the Top 225.

New Faces Part I:

Michael Powell SS / Bishop O'Connell, VA / 2024

The Bishop O'Connell infielder had an impressive summer at our tournaments in Virginia and Maryland. The left handed hitting Penn commit has a easy, fluid stroke and the swing plays in BP and in game. He was one of the more consistent bats that we saw this summer.

Alex Bingler LHP / St Annes Belfield, VA / 2024

Bingler is a new addition to the 2024 ranks, moving over from the 2023 class. The now STAB left hander was an interesting look when we saw him this spring and summer. Lower release, different look, and when the breaking ball is on it is pretty good. Shape can vary from a 1/7-2/8 breaker, but I think it is best when he gets more horizontal break to it. Should be one of the better uncommitted arms in the western portion of the state.

Bryce Adams 2B / Benedictine, VA / 2024

Like Bingler, Adams is another reclass from 2023 and has been added to the 2024 ranks. Versatile defender with probably more second base/outfield profile, but his athleticism will allow him to contribute in a variety of ways. Works gap to gap and has a little extra power to the pullside that he displayed in game during high school last year.

Carson Crigger RHP / Narrows , VA / 2024

Our first look at the Crigger was at the NRV Tigers Scout Day and he did not disappoint. The Narrows 2024 had arguably the best performance at the event that day. Some power projection to the pull side, feel for barrel, and a 6.9 runner. Loose whippy arm on the mound that works with pace. Crigger also showed some feel for spin that day. Intriguing 2024 to see out west.

Kyle Cook RHP / Cave Spring, VA / 2024

Staying with the western VA theme, Kyle Cook made two strong impressions on our staff this summer and fall. Big physical 6-foot-5 frame with a heavy fastball in the low to mid 80's. This is a high ceiling arm that offers some intrigue on what could be with the big Cave Spring arm. Should be an interesting look this spring.

Ty Enoch SS / Saint Anne's-Belfield, VA / 2024

Going back to STAB, Enoch had a really nice day late this summer at a Snyder Bucks Scout Day and then made another strong statement at the Blue Ridge Titans Scout Day this fall. Enoch had an event best 6.9 60 time, versatile defender, and put together a few really nice in game at bats. Doubles power to all fields and a little extra to the pull side.
