VA/DC Power 25: Week 2

PBR Staff
VA/DC Coverage

With two weeks of action in the books, its time to begin our weekly updates of the Power 25. This week sees five new teams jump in including our Team of the Week, Highland School, coming off of winning its spring break tournament in Miami last week. Battlefield also enters the rankings on the power of a 3-1 win over #3 Freedom. Also new to the rankings this week are Paul VI, Woodgrove, and Westfield.

The big riser in the rankings this week is Cape Henry Collegiate. The Dolphins had a big week, going 3-1 with wins over #8 Greenbrier Christian, #7 St. Christopher's, and Hickory and just a lone loss to Maryland powerhouse Archbishop Spalding.

The Top 3 remain unchanged, as Colgan survived a tight game against Mountain View and has steamrolled their other opponents. Hanover has only played once, but will travel to Cary, North Carolina this week for the prestigious NHSI tournament.
