The VA/DC Player of the Week returns for week 1 in 2025. The first week honors go to Co-Players of the week Jalen German and Lawson Mcleod. The "Trinity Aces" showed out in a dominant fashion on Saturday in a double header. Jalen German the Coastal Carolina commit threw five strong innings only giving up two hits and picked up ten strikeouts on the mound. To go along with what he did on the mound, he added a two run homerun. Mcleod the Louisiana State commit got the start in the second game of the day and worked deep into the outing only giving up two hits and racked up thirteen strikeouts.
