In partnership with the Virginia Baseball Coaches Association, Prep Baseball Virginia/DC is excited to announce our 3rd Annual Commonwealth Classic Spring Tournament. 

On an annual basis, the Commonwealth Classic will feature some of the best teams from across the state. The Prep Baseball VA/DC staff and committee members from the VBCA will select teams each year. This year the tournament will feature eight teams from across the state, with also taking into account some of the best teams in their respective regions. 

This event will begin on April 12, 2025 and will span over the course of two dates of play. Saturday, April 12th will see eight teams play two games a piece in a single elimination, three-game guarantee format. On Monday, April 14th, we will have three consolation games and the Commonwealth Classic Championship that night. Each matchup will be a unique matchup for teams, taking into account potential pitching matchups, MLB draft prospects, and potential big rematches from years past.

As we get closer to the event, we will highlight each matchup, break down players to watch, produce team spotlights, and much much more.
