Today we release a full, in-depth, and expanded update to the 2027 class. This update gives a small expansion from the previous total of 60 and expanding to 100. Below we highlight a few players that our staff had an opportunity to gather evaluations on this summer.
+ Blake LaMattina (Cosby) makes his move up to #2 in the VA/DC 2027 class. The two-way talent is a mid to upper 80's arm with the ability to spin for strikes, but it is the offensive ability that drives this one up. Handles velo, shows power potential to all fields, and is athletic enough to have the chance to stay on the left side. LaMattina made a loud statement versus some higher level 27's at the East Coast Super Sophomore games and continues his trend towards the top.

+ One of the biggest risers in this class is Cole Cinnamond. The 6-foot-4 left hander from Great Bridge HS may be the highest ceiling player in this class. Easy velo (up to 91 at East Coast Super Sophomore), can add and subtract when he wants, and the spin continues to get more consistent. Cinnamond has shown some flashes of finding bats with the fastball, as well as short stints of some scattered command at times, but both seemed to get better as the summer went along. There just seems to be another gear there for the left hander and when he is dialed in, he is tough to beat.

After a short 2 hitter appearance last night bc of 🌧️, the 6’4” LHP was absolutely nails today 🔨. Easy velo w/ ride at the top.

+ Judge Dillow (Abingdon) makes a small move up into the Top 15 from his previous #18 spot. He has really added to his athleticism and has started to add some visible lean strength to his frame. Dillow, a former Junior Future Games member, has twitch in his hands and can impact the baseball at the plate. Dillow is yet another quality catcher with offensive upside in this 2027 class.

Good piece of hitting as he lines this ball into left field for an RBI single.
