Today we release one of our final updates to the 2025 class. While there is no expansion from the current Top 250, we did see some changes near the top of the rankings. Early season high school games and the looks our staff has gotten has allowed us to make some small adjustments, but the majority of this class remains status quo. This will be one of the final updates, outside of the late spring/pre-draft rankings update. Below you will find a few highlighted players from the VA/DC 2025 Class.

+ Patrick Dudley - LHP - Atlantic Shores Christian - South Carolina

Dudleu moves up to #4 overall in the VA/DC class and into the Top 5 for the for the first time since November 2022. Why the move? The velo continues to tick up, showing some fairly consistent 93's early in the season, has gotten stronger while maintaining some athleticism and a fairly clean delivery, and then the separator is the breaking ball. It is an above average next level breaking ball. While there is still some room to grow with pitchability, third pitch usage/feel, and command at times, the stuff continues to make jumps.

+ Grady Lenahan - OF - Pro 5 (NC) - East Carolina

Also making a move up is an out of state standout. While Lenahan currently goes to school in North Carolina at Pro 5, because of his late move, he remains in VA/DC rankings to finish out this class. Our staff got a change to see Lenahan a few weeks ago at PDG in Fredericksburg and he was impressive to say the least. Athletic, run tool, can impact it to the backside, and his footspeed and tools still leave some intrigue for centerfield. Versus strong competition, the East Carolina commit is hitting .450, OPS of 1.532, has 11 combined XBH's, 4 homeruns, scored 26 runs, and has swiped 14 bags. All of this while carrying a 6:5 BB/K rate.
